Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel in Siem Reap

Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel: First impression

My first impression of Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel was very positive. First I had to walk 50 meters away from the street. This walk was a bit like walking along a drive way to a house. Inside the Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel the atmosphere was friendly and the staff very nice. When I entered my hotel room in the guesthouse I was positively surprised. The hotel room standard in Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel was much higher than I had hope for. Considering I only paid 20-25 USD for my room it was perfect.

Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel: Location & map

The Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel is located 50 meters away from a main commercial road. This is a very good solution since there is no noise for sleep and walk 50 meters to get to a road with shops, food and massage shops. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk away from the old market and bar street. This is also the area where you find most of the restaurants as well as street foods.

Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel is located in the direction of the Angkor temple sites. This way you will in the mornings have an easy access to the temples. I found the location to be perfect for my needs this way. In the evening I could walk to the bar street and in the morning I could quickly arrive to the Angkor temples.

Hotel room rates Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel (From $20-25)

Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel has like many other hotels different room standards. My recommendation would be to book a standard room and then upgrade upon arrival if you are not happy with it. These rooms can be found on promotion often for $20-25. I paid $20 for my room when I stayed at Mekong Angkor Palace Hotel.
